Sandy's salsa and chips

The Weaverville Tailgate Market is partnering with the Madison Co. Farmers Market to have an indoor winter market two times a month. Most of the vendors sell at both markets and there are a few additional vendors.

It will be held at the Madison Co. Extension office (directions below) the second and fourth Saturday of each month, from 10-2pm.
This is a small market, but you’ll find a nice variety of products.
Mackey Farms- chicken, pork, rabbit, eggs
Sue Mickey- Appleberry Cove Farms- pet goat milk, candy, other products
Jeanette Wilson (Hominy Valley Farm)- beef- grass fed/grain finished, collards, kale, spinach, carrots
Michele de Bruin (Ardfield Farm)-this is the young lady at the holiday market with the wonderful salad greens.  She will also have spinach and kale, maybe some radishes.
Maria de Slouza- the soap lady”, also salves, and other bath products, possibly candles (she is working on those)
Susan Goldenray- beautiful quilted purses
Sunset Valley Farms- Sandy’s daughter, Michele, will be selling jams, jellies,other preserves, herbs mixes, etc.

Several other vendors may be there- sometimes we are not sure who will show up!

Directions to Extension office-
1.  Coming from Weaverville-
Take 25/70 towards Marshall.
The road is four lane and will turn into two lane.
After the Citgo Station  take the first right on Long Branch Rd., just before Madison Pharmacy (log building) on left.
There is a sign pointing to the fair grounds where you turn.
Proceed to # 3.

2.  Coming from Mars Hill-
take 213 towards Marshall.  Turn on to 25/70 towards Asheville.  Take the second left  onto Long Branch Rd., just after Madison Pharmacy.

3.  Go .4 mile and turn right on Ken Pack Rd.
.2 mile and take the right fork. IMMEDIATELY veer to the left- be careful because on coming traffic has the right of way.
.1 mile – keep to the right.
Enter the front of the building and walk through the lobby to the left- HERE WE ARE- a little hidden but well worth the search!!
